BANGOR
We overcome a few challenges to achieve a great result with this garden that boasts stunning bushland views. Transforming this garden into a neat and usable landscape called for extensive earthworks on a site with difficult access. 20 tonnes of Basalt boulders were installed (mostly by hand) in wire cages to create practical and striking Gabion retaining walls. Grey Porphyry stone pavers were installed to create a low-maintenance space perfect for sitting and drinking tea whilst bush-gazing.
Large steel supports and beams for the existing deck create an industrial feature of their own, along with the custom aluminium balustrade to the clients design, sitting on the boundary of a native-themed garden designed to blend perfectly with the surrounding bush.
