CRONULLA

It was a pleasure to construct this bespoke low maintenance garden that complements this unique home built from repurposed shipping containers. This landscape was designed to stand out from its neighbours and incorporates recycled materials, including large hardwood beams from the client’s parents’ property up-cycled as steps and seating. Corten steel edging and steel reinforcement sheets for climbing plants and transplanted olive trees extend the industrial brief and added even more flavour to the landscape.

A separate garden and chiminea sit alongside the new AirBnB at the rear of the property, also featuring a wheelchair-accessible path. This garden is built for those relaxing summer nights, with a large deck and a fire pit by which to soak up the ambience.

“Our experience with John (Sharp Landscaping) was a seamless progression of ideas into a reality. I’m not sure if they were our ideas or John’s but it was like working on an art installation and that’s what we ended up with....a beautiful garden that is a piece of art. John and his team put our garden together with professionalism which appeared effortless and that meant stress free for Sue and I. On a daily basis we receive complements about how it looks but more importantly for us, it’s how it makes us feel. I would strongly recommend having a chat with John and let him help you create your own piece or art.. Cheers.”
